Hello Kitty, the beloved pop icon created to inspire happiness around the world, is hitting the road in 2015 with her first-ever live North American tour: Hello Kitty’s Supercute Friendship Festival. Sanrio®, the global lifestyle brand best known for Hello Kitty, and international tour producer VEE Corporation, have partnered together to design, create and produce this inaugural tour event. Going beyond a traditional live stage show, the event will offer a unique multi-component festival atmosphere for Sanrio fans of all ages. Hello Kitty’s Supercute Friendship Festival will take place at Glendale’s Gila River Arena from August 22 & 23.
Tickets for the event will go on-sale Friday, February 13 at 10am. Fans can purchase tickets at the Gila River Arena box office, online at Ticketmaster.com or charge by phone.
For the first time in North America, Hello Kitty and her supercute friends My Melody®, Badtz-Maru®, Keroppi®, Chococat®, Dear Daniel®, and Purin™ will appear in this unique celebration of fun, friendship and Sanrio surprises! Each event will feature Hello Kitty and her friends in multi-stage live performances and DJ-driven dance sequences as well as interactive exhibits, animation, art, fashion, photo opportunities, event-exclusive collectibles and much more, all in an immersive festival environment! Hello Kitty’s Supercute Friendship Festival will make its debut at Target Center in Minneapolis, MN in May 2015.

In support of Hello Kitty’s 40th Anniversary, VEE Corporation shared a “sneak peek” of live performances of Hello Kitty’s Supercute Friendship Festival to the attendees of the SOLD OUT Hello Kitty Con 2014, which took place at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA (The Museum of Contemporary Art), in downtown Los Angeles October 2014.
